Born in Cuckfield in January 1988 and have been living in Burgess Hill all my life. Energetic and confident, I begun singing when I was about five years old. I would regularly go with my dad to his gigs in local pubs and bars and was inspired by his abilities with a guitar. On my thirteenth birthday he bought me my first guitar and I began to learn.
It was not until about 5 years ago that I realized I could sing properly. After playing in several bands I decided to put down my guitar in exchange for the thrill of blowing people's eardrums with my iron lungs.
My father is certainly my number one influence and hero when it comes to music, other idols of mine include Eddie Vedder, Myles Kennedy, Bruce Dickenson, Layne Staley and James Hetfield. My last major influence is Chris Cornell; Soundgarden and Audioslave are bands that really inspire my vocal style. I'd listen to and sing along to all their records, these are the guys that taught me to and inspired me to become a singer.
Metallica's Black album was my starting point in heavy music but, in the last four years i have gotten into other styles like grunge and hard rock, although I now love and play in these styles, I will never forget my metal roots (as dark as they are:))
