Dead Empire

 I was Born on the 16th of May 1985, in a small place somewhere in the South East of England. The first thing I heard as a kid, was my parents listening to Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam... They got me my first musical instruments before I'd learnt how to write or spell ( its their fault that I never mastered it!).

I got my first guitar at the age of thirteen, My main focus at that time was learning Nirvana and Greenday songs, When I became older I started becoming interested in different styles of music; (such as Blues and Funk) which really expanded my guitar knowledge.

After being inspired by guitar based bands such as Queen, ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin, I discovered a passion for loud energetic guitar lead song's. My main influence's for my guitar playing are Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in chain's), Adam Jones (Tool). I use a Fender Stratocaster in Dead Empire. I love the warm, clean sound which i get from the double humbuckers and combined with my BBE Crusher distortion pedal; I get the heavy grunge tone that I love.
